Nickel 201 (UNS N02201) is a commercially pure wrought nickel alloy with a controlled low carbon content (0.02% maximum). It is a lower-carbon version of Nickel 200 (0.15% max carbon), specifically developed to prevent embrittlement and graphitization when exposed to elevated temperatures above 600°F (315°C) .
